Women in Games are still working hard to promote and support equality, even in this uncertain time.

CEO Marie-Claire IsaamanOur hearts are with those who have been affected personally by the outbreak of COVID-19 as well as the many communities around the world that are facing extreme measures in the attempt to slow its spread. There has been an unprecedented change in the way businesses operate, and the games industry is no exception.

Here at Women in Games, we are still working hard to promote and support equality, even in this uncertain time. We are still planning our annual conference for the Autumn and want to formally announce the dates as 10th and 11th September 2020. The conference theme this year is Work, Rest and Play: Exploring the roles, viewpoints and lives of women across all areas of the industry. We will adapt to a large virtual element and, depending on the future climate, a real life meet too.

For all those who have lost their jobs as a result of recent events, we would urge you to maintain a positive outlook, as roles are available and telephone/video interviews are still going ahead. To that end we would invite all our members to stay connected across our social media channels for posting and sharing any current vacancies.

Finally we ask you all to stay safe and look after yourselves and your loved ones as a priority.

CEO Marie-Claire Isaaman
