Women in Games invites you to nominate your role models, mentors, influencers and generally all round brilliant women for their Global Awards. This year’s awards present a much expanded list of categories,  including a suite of new awards focused on esports. The awards will provide the culminating event at the global Women in Games Festival on September 18th, celebrating fantastic women in games and esports. 

The awards champion and highlight incredible work in the games and esports sectors. Every nomination you make helps spread awareness and recognition. Women in Games welcomes self-nominations for the awards –  it is just as important to honour your own achievements as those of others. The window for nominating an individual or company will close on 11th July.

Women in Games is calling for nominations for 20 Global Awards in 6 categories, a much expanded selection of categories:

Video Games Awards

  • Favourite Female Gaming Protagonist of the Year
  • Favourite Game developed by a woman or female team
  • Video Games Advocacy Awards – recognising games organisations advocating for change
  • Video Games Gender Diversity Initiative of the Year

Women in Games Community Awards

  • Outstanding Corporate Ambassador of the Year
  • Outstanding Individual Ambassador of the Year
  • Outstanding Twitch Streamer of the Year

Women in Games Education Awards

  • University or College Games or Esports Diversity Initiative
  • University or College Student Portfolio Awards

Women in Games Lifetime Achievement Awards

  • Hall of Fame Awards – recognising individuals

Gaming and Esports Awards – Industry

  • Most Influential Esports Campaigner or Entrepreneur
  • Most Influential Esports Host
  • Most Influential Esports Shoutcaster or Analyst
  • Most Influential Esports Twitch Streamer
  • Most Influential Esports Writer or Journalist
  • Most Influential Gaming Community Group or Network
  • Most Influential Gaming Community Manager
