CALLING INDIE DEVS! PITCH TO INVESTORS, ADVISORS & PUBLISHERS AT THE WOMEN IN GAMES INVESTMENT & ENTREPRENEURSHIP FORUM

Friday September 9th – Virtual Event

The Women in Games Investment & Entrepreneurship Forum is a totally new event which will give indie developers and associated businesses within our community the opportunity to pitch to investors, publishers and advisors via hosted ‘match-made’ meetings.

We are grateful to our headline sponsor, AWS, for supporting this important Forum, which will also provide delegates with the chance to attend informative and insightful sessions on getting their studios and businesses investment-ready.

Why is this event important?
Research has revealed that start-ups led by men are four times more likely to secure funding and investment. We know that there are some brilliant women-led businesses in games and esports who deserve support, so our goal is to put them directly in touch with individuals and organisations who can help them to fulfil their potential.

Who can apply to take part in the Investment & Entrepreneurship Forum?
This event is to specifically support women, non-binary individuals, those who identify as women, and others in under-represented groups.

How to get involved
If you are an indie developer or are heading up a start-up elsewhere in games or esports, you simply need to register for the event here and then we will ask you to complete a form. The information you provide in the form is to enable us to match your requirements with those of the organisations and individuals who will be there to help you.

The deadline for registering for this event is Friday August 27th.

What happens next?
We will contact you the week before the Forum to provide you with your own itinerary of meetings with investors, publishers and advisors. You will also have the opportunity to attend the series of speaker sessions designed to help you with your journey towards investment.
