FIRST COHORT OF THE WOMEN IN GAMES CREATOR CIRCLE ANNOUNCED

A new community of creators will help amplify the voices, stories and conversations shaping the future of games
Women in Games is delighted to announce the first cohort of its newly established Creator Circle, bringing together a diverse group of content creators, streamers, podcasters, writers, presenters and community leaders from across the games industry.
Created as a specialist group within the Women in Games Ambassador Programme – which is powered by Keywords Studios – the Creator Circle recognises the growing influence that creators have in shaping conversations around careers, inclusion, leadership and the future of games.
From livestreams and podcasts to LinkedIn articles, YouTube channels and community events, creators have become some of the industry’s most trusted voices. They introduce new audiences to important topics, champion role models, build communities and help make complex industry issues more accessible.
The Creator Circle has been established to support that work, creating opportunities for creators and Women in Games to collaborate in ways that are authentic, flexible and mutually beneficial.
While Women in Games has built a global community of some 2,600 Ambassadors across around 100 countries, the Creator Circle recognises that today’s industry conversations increasingly happen across digital platforms and creator communities.
Creators have the ability to reach audiences wherever they are – whether they are aspiring developers, experienced professionals, students, players or industry leaders.
By working together, Women in Games hopes to amplify stories that inspire careers, celebrate diverse talent, encourage leadership and promote greater equity across the games industry.
At the same time, Creator Circle members will gain increased visibility through Women in Games’ own channels, opportunities to connect with industry leaders and fellow creators, and access to conversations and initiatives that can help strengthen their own professional profiles.
Women in Games CEO Dr Marie-Claire Isaaman said: “The games industry has never had more talented creators helping to shape conversations about careers, culture and inclusion. The Creator Circle recognises the influence these voices have and creates new opportunities for us to work together. Rather than simply amplifying our campaigns, we’re inviting creators to help shape them, bringing new perspectives and reaching audiences in authentic, meaningful ways. This is about collaboration, creativity and building a stronger, more connected community.”
