IWD & WOMEN’S HISTORY MONTH AT KEYWORDS STUDIOS

We know how supportive of women Keywords Studios is, with the group powering our Individual Ambassador programme and supporting our events and initiatives. And here Group Head of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Athena Enderstein talks about what International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month means to the organisation…

“Gender equality is a key focus of our diversity and inclusion work at Keywords. Alongside powering the Woman in Games Individual Ambassador Programme, we invest in analyses, activities and communities across our regions.

“As part of our annual inclusion calendar we hold a Keywords Women’s Summit. Each time the event builds on feedback and this year it is hosted by a passionate team from our Asia Pacific region on March 20th. It is an opportunity for colleagues from across Keywords to connect and network and to hear about our diversity and inclusion and gender equity work.

“This year we are exploring success stories, hearing from women about their trajectories within Keywords, the challenges they have faced and the kinds of opportunities and support that have made the difference for them. Crucially, taking our impact through the year from Women’s History Month, Keywords Asia Pacific studios will undertake a gender equity challenge for the year.

“We also have a Keywords Ambassadors Connect event planned to close out the month, supporting Ambassadors in their actions for the year.”

Women in Games CEO Marie-Claire Isaaman offered: “It is great to hear how Keywords Studio  is proactively supporting  women working across the organisation through providing learning and opportunities for career progress and hosting the summit for sharing success stories.”
