One Week left to Nominate

Who would you like to recognise with an award?

With only one week left to nominate, we want to hear from you! Who would like to be recognised with an award? There are countless organisations, communities and individuals working together towards creating a more inclusive and diverse space for games and esports.

The Women in Games Global Awards represent a fantastic opportunity to celebrate and highlight their advocacy, support and perseverance. We would love to hear from you about those you would like to acknowledge with an award.

The nomination process takes 5-10 minutes and simply asks for you to select your category and award, check over the award criteria and confirm that the nominee is willing to participate in the awards programme. Some categories will ask for a little more information such as a short paragraph on what qualifies the candidate for the award, offering you the opportunity to add any information you would like the judges to consider. You can nominate up to 10 people on the Awards site.

Some categories are for organisations or initiatives, some for communities and some for individuals – it is worth checking the award criteria before you nominate to ensure that your entry will be valid. For example, the Women in Games Community category features awards specifically directed to existing Women in Games Ambassadors whether they are Corporate Ambassadors or Individual Ambassadors. There is an eligibility list of those who are eligible for these awards linked from the nomination site.

We have grown our awards this year and thought it might be helpful to offer some further clarification to frequently asked questions. You can find our FAQs for the awards alongside some additional information on each award on the Women in Games website here:

We cannot wait to read about the amazing organisations, companies and people you have nominated, please go to and make sure to get your entries in by midnight BST on Sunday 11th July for your entry to be counted.
