PUT YOURSELF IN THE SPOTLIGHT: MCV/DEVELOP WOMEN IN GAMES AWARDS

As Women in Games Ambassadors, you’re already making a difference across the games industry – championing inclusion, supporting your communities and helping to create opportunities for others. Now it’s time to make sure that impact gets the recognition it deserves.

Nominations are now open for the MCV/DEVELOP Women in Games Awards 2026, celebrating the outstanding women who are shaping the future of the UK games industry. Whether you’ve led a successful project, inspired your team, driven positive change, mentored others or broken new ground in your field, we encourage you to put yourself forward. And if someone in your network immediately comes to mind, why not nominate them too?

There are 11 award categories recognising achievement across the games industry, with finalists selected by an expert judging panel before the winners are announced at the awards ceremony on September 24th at 21Soho, London.

Submitting a nomination is straightforward. All you need is the nominee’s details and a supporting statement of up to 750 words highlighting their achievements and impact. Just remember to let your nominee know before submitting and ensure they identify as a woman.

Women in Games has always been about celebrating talent, creating visibility and recognising the people driving our industry forward. These awards are a great opportunity to shine a spotlight on the incredible work being done across our community—and yes, self-nominations are absolutely encouraged!

Nominations close on August 3rd, so don’t miss the opportunity to recognise yourself or someone whose contributions deserve to be celebrated.
