The Women in Games Ambassador Connects event returns on Thursday September 10th, with a special invitation – bring someone who shares your passion for creating a more fair equitable games industry.
Taking place virtually via Women in Games’ RingCentral platform, the event will once again bring together Ambassadors from around the world for an afternoon of shared learning, discussion and inspiration.
A Community Built by Ambassadors
Unlike traditional conferences or webinars, Ambassador Connects is designed around the people who make the Women in Games community what it is.
This edition will place Ambassadors firmly at the heart of the programme, with members sharing their own experiences of running events, building regional communities, creating opportunities for others and driving meaningful change within their local games ecosystems.
From practical advice and lessons learned to stories of impact and innovation, attendees will gain insights directly from fellow Ambassadors who are helping shape the future of the industry.
The event will also provide updates on Women in Games’ strategic priorities, upcoming initiatives and new opportunities to get involved, including developments across advocacy, education, talent pathways and community activation.
Bring Someone Who Shares Your Passion
For the first time, every Ambassador is encouraged to invite a guest. Whether it’s a colleague, industry peer, mentor or someone you’ve always thought would make a fantastic Ambassador, this event offers the perfect opportunity to introduce them to the Women in Games community in a welcoming and authentic environment.
Rather than simply hearing about the Ambassador Programme, guests will experience it through the people who bring it to life. They’ll see how Ambassadors collaborate across countries and disciplines, share knowledge, support one another and work together to create lasting impact throughout the games industry.
It’s an opportunity to discover not only what Women in Games does, but how its global Ambassador community turns ideas into action.
