Celebrating the achievements of women and organisations working in the games industry from all over the world has been a long standing priority for Women in Games.

With over 250 unique nominations it has been an informative and inspiring experience to read about organisations, communities and individuals all who are having such a positive impact on the games and esports industries.

Across all our categories we received excellent nominations. It has been exciting to see the response for our new categories with excellent esports awards, tournaments, projects and groups getting put forward for consideration. We have been presented with impressive examples demonstrating the innovation and effort going into promoting inclusion and diversity in this space.

This year we introduced some unique new categories along with our well established awards and are delighted with the response from the sector across the awards. All our awards are important in highlighting and showcasing the brilliant work of individuals and groups across a growing and evolving gaming sector.

Our judges are going to have an extremely tough task on their hands selecting our shortlists and some of our winners. We cannot wait to see who they will recognise for these global awards. Our virtual awards ceremony will take place during the Women in Games Festival on 18th September – be sure to mark your calendars!
