WIG AMBASSADORS: APPLY FOR A FREE PLACE ON WIA’S MENTORSHIP PROGRAMME

Women in Games is delighted to share an exciting mentorship opportunity for our Ambassador community, with 50 free memberships to WIA’s Mentorship Programme available.
WIA, formerly known as Women in Animation, runs a global Mentorship Programme designed to connect people of under-represented gender identities at all professional levels with experienced industry mentors who can help them take the next steps in their careers.
Each year, more than 500 creatives are paired with veteran industry professionals, with the programme designed to build careers, confidence and professional networks. Mentors are working professionals drawn from a wide range of disciplines, including writing, directing, producing, editing and storyboarding.
Mentorship without borders
The WIA Mentorship Programme is delivered virtually, helping creatives connect with mentors and peers regardless of where they are based.
Mentorship takes place through WIA Circles, typically bringing together one mentor with a cohort of six to 10 mentees. This small-group approach creates a more personal and directly connected experience while giving mentees the opportunity to immediately expand their professional network.
The programme has no geographic boundaries, with previous participants joining from locations including Vancouver, Brazil, Turkey, Australia and Thailand.
