WIG WELCOMES CHAMELEON 42 AS COMMUNITY-LEVEL CORPORATE AMBASSADOR

Women in Games is delighted to welcome Chameleon 42 as its first Community Level Corporate Ambassador.

Headquartered in Belgrade, Serbia, Chameleon 42 is an art co-development and full-cycle game outsourcing studio, which has been operating worldwide since 2018.

Women in Games introduced the new Community Member package earlier this year to enable smaller studios and grassroots advocates the opportunity to engage with us and partner in our work directly.

The studio’s Business Development Manager Polina Butenko (pictured) said: “We believe that the success of any project comes down to a strong team built strictly on talent and expertise. Supporting women is simply a natural part of our corporate culture. We take pride in the fact that around 50% of our team are women, and we can clearly see how their insights and creativity drive our projects forward. For us, becoming a Corporate Ambassador is a way to share this experience and show how to make the game dev industry fairer – building an environment where equal opportunities are guided by common sense, not bias.”

Women in Games CEO Dr Marie-Claire Isaaman added: “We are delighted to welcome Chameleon 42 as our first Community-Level Corporate Ambassador. Creating a games industry where everyone has the opportunity to thrive requires organisations that are prepared to turn their values into action, and Chameleon 42 is demonstrating exactly that. Their commitment to building a workplace where talent and expertise are the defining factors, alongside achieving strong representation of women across the business, reflects the kind of leadership our industry needs. We believe that progress happens when organisations share knowledge, learn from one another and work collectively to create lasting change. We look forward to collaborating with Chameleon 42 to champion good practice, inspire others across the industry and continue advancing gender equity in games.”
