A DEDICATED NEWSLETTER FOR OUR INDIVIDUAL AMBASSADORS

We are proud of our Ambassador community – which now boasts over 2,000 women and allies in nearly 80 countries around the world – and we continue to build tools and resources to support them as they help us in our goal of making games a fairer, safer place for women and girls.

With the valued support of Keywords Studios – which powers the Individual Ambassador Programme – we want to further inspire and encourage individuals to evangelise the work of Women in Games, engage with their local communities and more. We hope that the launch of this newsletter will help to do just that.

The newsletter will be published and distributed quarterly – to coincide with the announcement of our latest cohort of Ambassadors – and will:

  • Update Ambassadors on upcoming events and initiatives
  • Provide a reminder of the resources available
  • Highlight the brilliant work of our Ambassadors

On the latter point, this is over to you! We would love to showcase your work, your thoughts and ideas. So please get in touch via ambassadors@womeningames.org so that we can shine a light on you!

Women in Games CEO Dr Marie-Claire Isaaman said: “A warm welcome to our new Ambassadors and a ‘hello’ to the many other individuals who have been part of our Programme for some time. We’re delighted to launch this newsletter to provide regular updates and give you the confidence to work with us to make games a fairer and safer place for all women and girls.”

Keywords Studios’ Group Head of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Athena Enderstein added: “Shaping a more equitable video games industry together is the foundation of our Keywords Studios partnership with Women in Games, and the individual Ambassadors Programme is key to achieving this change. It’s been a great privilege to work with the Women in Games team over the last three years growing and strengthening the programme together. It’s great to see the impact that Ambassadors are having locally and in the industry, demonstrating the power of community and collective action. With the Ambassador newsletter we are dedicating a space for Ambassador voices, and providing news, activities, and opportunities to strengthen these connections. Let us know what you want to share!”

We look forward to hearing from you!
