BOOK LAUNCH – WOMEN & GAMES: A MATTER OF GENDER

Our CEO Marie-Claire Isaaman was delighted to contribute the preface to an upcoming book which looks at the oft-ignored contribution of women to the video games industry.

Donne e videogiochi: una questione di genere (Women & Games: A Matter of Gender) will be launched October 13th, 2023. It’s been written by Marco Accordi Rickards, CEO of Vigamus Group and Micaela Romanini, Founder of Women in Games Italy.

This publication is the first of its kind on the Italian scene, aiming to allow the reader to explore the games industry – not only celebrating the female characters and heroines that feature in the history of video games, but also diving into the milestones reached by the women pioneers of the industry, whilst also narrating the past and present battles for diversity and inclusion in the field.

The book is being published by Carocci Editore on October 13^th.
