DOVETAIL GAMES FOCUSES ON LEADERSHIP

Women in Games Corporate Ambassador Dovetail Games has launched a Futures Leader Programme designed to develop its next generation of senior talent.
The initiative is a 10-month programme with five models and a blended-learning approach, consisting of face-to-face learning, SLT level mentoring, business project collaboration and 1-2-1 coaching. So far, Dovetail has delivered the first module, with a pilot cohort group of existing senior leaders who will help shape the future of the programme. Applications for the first group have been accepted and these will kick off early in 2023.
Going forward, there will be a new cohort every 10 months, with the first graduates of the programme set to be celebrated in summer 2023. Further down the line Dovetail may look to get the programme accredited with a learning body.
“The programme has been designed in-house to ensure maximum suitability and is aimed at developing aspiring and future leaders of our organisation,” said Dovetail Games’ VP of People Lindsey Shorricks (pictured).
“We are proud to have created a programme which invests in our people and their development. The programme will support our people to become amazing leaders of both themselves, the teams they manage and the people around them. They will go on a journey of self-discovery and personal growth designed to both challenge and push individuals to be the very best versions of themselves.”
Women in Games CEO Marie-Claire Isaaman added: “One of our core values is Empowerment and one of our key priority areas of action is Career Pathways: developing talent and fostering leadership culture. So we are proud that one of our long standing Corporate Ambassadors is so aligned in doing such progressive work in this area to develop the next generation.”
