EMBRACER GROUP SUPPORTS DONNA DAY AT SWEDEN GAME CONFERENCE

Our Corporate Ambassador Embracer Group recently took part in the Swedish Game Conference’s DONNA Day initiative, showing its support for creating an inclusive gaming industry.

The theme of the day was ‘how to take control of your own career, self-management and self-leadership’ and the event brought together experienced industry professionals with the next generation of game developers for discussions and inspiration.

“We firmly believe that a diverse and inclusive gaming industry is the key to its continued success,” said Karin Edner Karlsson, Group Sustainability Manager at Embracer Group.

DONNA was founded at the University of Skövde in 2011 with a goal of making it easier for women to take a place in the games industry. DONNA Day is hosted in conjunction with the Sweden Game Conference for women, trans and non-binary game development students and alumni.
