Women in Games will be hosting a special event during Develop:Brighton – one centred on conversation, connection and shared perspectives.

Following the themes raised in our recent report, The Drop-Off: Women in Games from Players to Power and Capital, we recognise that behind every statistic are real stories, successes, barriers, and challenges that are not always visible in the data alone.

The Women in Games Voices event is designed as an open and welcoming environment where attendees can come together to talk honestly about the realities of building careers, studios, securing funding, accessing leadership opportunities, and navigating the games industry.

Rather than simply a traditional networking event, Women in Games Voices at Develop:Brighton is about creating meaningful dialogue, amplifying underrepresented perspectives, and creating space for conversations that too often happen behind closed doors.

These conversations will help shape the next phase of Women in Games’ advocacy, insight, and industry action, ensuring our work remains grounded in the voices of the community we serve.

The event will take place at the Hilton Brighton Metropole on Wednesday 15 July from 3:00pm–5:00pm, in the dining room.

We are also pleased to offer complimentary professional headshots throughout the event, with a professional photographer available on-site for attendees.

A cash bar will be available throughout the afternoon.

Tickets are free, with optional donation tickets available for those who wish to support the ongoing work of Women in Games. Spaces will be limited and advance registration will be required.
