FUNPLUS JOINS WOMEN IN GAMES AS CORPORATE AMBASSADOR

We are delighted to welcome FunPlus as our latest Corporate Ambassador.

FunPlus is a world-class, independent game developer and publisher headquartered in Switzerland, with offices and operations in China, Japan, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Russia, and the United States. Founded in 2010, FunPlus is an organisation that fosters top creative and diverse talent, with nearly 2,000 people worldwide. The company has developed and published mobile games that boast a number of top-ranking positions globally, including State of Survival, King of Avalon and Guns of Glory. FunPlus has also positioned itself in the RPG puzzle genre with Call of Antia.

FunPlus is home to both the KingsGroup and Imagendary studios. The company is also the founder of FPX (FunPlus Phoenix), one of the world’s most successful esports organisations, and the 2019 League of Legends World Champions.

Women in Games CEO Marie-Claire Isaaman said: “FunPlus is an impressive organisation with a great reputation within the mobile games sector, as well as a burgeoning esports division. The group’s commitment to diversity, and its desire to make EDI a priority, is very welcome – and we are delighted that FunPlus is joining our growing Corporate Ambassador programme.”

Eleanor Twilton (pictured), FunPlus’ Global Head of PR and Communications, added: “As a major developer and publisher, FunPlus has a decisive role to play in supporting diversity and inclusivity in its teams, and ensuring that our wider industry continues to work hard to be a welcoming and positive space for all. As a Corporate Ambassador for Women in Games, we have an opportunity to highlight and celebrate one of the underrepresented minorities in our industry, and all the ways that women contribute to the incredible world of gaming.

“By joining Women In Games, FunPlus team members will have access to new resources and learning opportunities to help women feel valued, supported, to grow and evolve in the best possible conditions. We’re looking forward to highlighting more women who are experts in their fields at FunPlus, to make our teams proud, and inspire future generations of women to join us too.”
