LOOKING TO GET NOTICED AND FIND YOUR FIRST ROLE IN GAMES…?

… then, if you’re in the UK, you should consider taking part in the IG50 Awards, which are hosted by Into Games with support from recruitment agency One Player Mission.

The Awards are for anyone ready to work, and celebrate the ‘most employable, unemployed people in games’. They are free to enter and suitable for anyone who is ready to work, but yet to embark on their career.

Winners will have the opportunity put themselves in front of all of Into Games’ UK partner studios, get headshots, and will also be invited to the Develop: Brighton Conference with contributions to travel fees.

It’s open to anyone applying from any game discipline, from art to community management and it only takes 10-mins to apply.

Into Games is also running a day of online discipline-specific portfolio and CV advice sessions called Elevate. It’s running on the 16th June, and students can sign up here.

Women in Games CEO Marie-Claire Isaaman offered: “It’s great to see Into Games and One Player Mission hosting these important awards again. This is a great opportunity for anyone about to take their first steps into games, and want to raise their profile. We urge our UK community to get involved and look forward to seeing this year’s IG50.”
