MAKE A DATE FOR THE ESPORTS & GAMES FESTIVAL ESI LONDON THIS MONTH
ESI London is set to take place on October 18th & 19th at Box Park Wembley, London and will feature a women and non-binary breakfast event supported by Women in Games.
Delivering networking, education, content and hospitality in esports and video games ESI London has some new elements too; a pre-scheduled meetings & networking app, a short film festival, a gaming creator economy event and the return of start-ups competition The Clutch.
There are two tracks of conference content, Main Stage and Track 2, featuring sessions from panels on the future of Counter-Strike, to sim racing, esports venues, how creators and brands can work together to best effect, and more.
Kicking off the whole event is the women and non-binary exclusive breakfast event, created in partnership with SPORTFIVE and supported by GIRLGAMER Esports Festival, The*gameHERs, Women in Games International, and of course, Women in Games. On the evening of day one, the live Rocket League Lions Clash 2 finals will take place, alongside inclusive and fun socials for all attendees to enjoy including axe throwing, pop golf, and VR Gaming (also available during the days).
There are also three new elements for this year’s edition:
Checkpoint will focus on the Creator Economy x Video Games, featuring workshops, main stage talks, and meaningful, productive conversations (and great socials). It will provide a chance for creators to meet peers and potential partners, and brands, agencies, and anyone else active or interested in exploring the gaming creator economy.
The first ESI Film Festival will be focused on video games and esports. There is a £10,000 prize pool and this will be hosted on the evening of October 20th at BAFTA 195 Piccadilly, in partnership with ESG Gaming. Due to capacity it’s by invitation only.
The Clutch start-ups competition has been expanded to be open to those from video games and the creator economy, as well as esports.
