NATIONAL VIDEOGAME MUSEUM SEEKS WOMEN COMMUNITY CHAMPIONS

The UK’s National Videogame Museum – a not-for-profit based in Sheffield – is looking for volunteers to help further its work within the community.
It is recruiting Community Champions who will make up an informal steering group for the Level Up project, a National Lottery funded initiative to make the museum more welcoming, engaging and inclusive.
The opportunity is open to anyone aged 16+ living in Sheffield, Barnsley, Rotherham and Chesterfield – and the Museum is particularly interested in attracting women to take these roles.
This is a unique opportunity for people to have their say in one of the UK’s most exciting museums, and to gain valuable skills in teamwork, leadership and the culture & heritage sector. The National Videogame Museum offers a safe and supportive environment for volunteers, along with training, development and professional experience.
Anyone who wants to register interest can do so by filling in a short form at bit.ly/NVMchampions.
