New League for Riot Games as studio becomes latest Corporate Ambassador
Riot Games, the renowned studio behind League of Legends, VALORANT and more, has signed up as the newest Women in Games Corporate Ambassador.
Riot Games – which is headquartered in Los Angeles, with esports, operations and publishing offices in Europe – has already made a significant commitment to Equality, Diversity & Inclusion, having pledged to publish an annual D&I report. Its latest statement revealed that 29 per cent of Riot Games’ executive team are women and 22 per cent are from under-represented groups.
Angela Roseboro, Chief Diversity Officer of Riot Games, said: “At Riot, we believe that the future will be a place where women will say they are not the ‘only’ but one of the ‘many’ who have a seat at the table to make this industry diverse and inclusive.
