NEW RECOGNITION FOR OUR SUPPORT OF THE UN’S SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS

We are delighted to reveal that Women in Games has been shortlisted by the EU Tech Chamber for our support and alignment with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), also known as the Global Goals, were adopted by the United Nations in 2015 as a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure that by 2030 all people enjoy peace and prosperity.
Women in Games has been recognised specifically for its alignment and support of the UN’s SDG Goal 5 – To Achieve Gender Equality and Empower All Women and Girls.
“We are honoured to have been shortlisted by the EU Tech Chamber for our support of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals,” said Women in Games CEO Marie-Claire Isaaman. “We have long aligned ourselves and our strategy with Goal 5 of achieving gender equality and empowering women. In addition, we are using the UN Principles in our upcoming Women in Games Guide. It is hugely encouraging that we have been recognised for our efforts and achievements in this area, and we look forward to continuing our journey with our community.”
