ROOM 8 CREATES NFT ART WITH FUNDS GOING TO UKRAINE, ACQUIRES ART STUDIO PUGA

Room 8 Studio, in cooperation with Party Space, has created an NFT collection to support the Ukrainian Armed Forces and has committed to donating all the profits gained from the art sales.

The Doge collection portrays modern-day Ukrainian heroes positioned against famous Ukrainian backdrops. These characters (the President of Ukraine – Zelensky, Ukrainian military, and civilians) are pictured as folk heroes clothed in ‘vyshyvanka’ (Ukrainian ethnic embroidered clothes) and Ukrainian military uniforms. All proceeds will go to a charitable foundation helping the Ukrainian army.

These NFTs were created this spring in Kyiv by artists from Room 8 Studio and Party.Space, specialist metaverse creators.

“When we were working on the portraits of Ukrainian heroes, our goal was to create content that empowers Ukrainian people, our new heroes, and inspire positive changes in the world,” said Vadym Kraevoy, Head of Art at Room 8 Studio.

“Every Ukrainian is working to help those who have suffered from the Russian invasion. For our part, we decided to support Ukraine by raising money from the sale of a unique NFT collection representing a series of heroes and historical Ukrainian memes,” added Yurii Milyutin, Chief Marketing Officer at Party.Space.

Meanwhile, Room 8 Group has begun the process of acquiring Brazilian creative art studio PUGA. Employing a team of over 90 artists and 140 specialists, PUGA is a diverse outsourcing studio. In 2021 alone, the studio worked on 65 projects in 16 different countries, and contributing to the releases of Looney Tunes World of Mayhem, Wonderbox, Bunkers and Badasses, and Dice Dreams.
