Sheridans signs on the dotted line as latest Women in Games Corporate Ambassador

Leading media and tech law firm Sheridans has joined the Women in Games Corporate Ambassador programme.

Sheridans has several leading lawyers in the games space, advising on all areas, from development to license agreements; from brand protection to data protection; and from NFTs to cryptocurrencies and digital tokens.

In addition, with the company boasting both renowned games and sports divisions, Sheridans’ team contains some of the most highly regarded lawyers in esports. The team advises a wide range of esports clients, from leagues, rights holders, teams and players to gaming companies, streaming channels/platforms, game developers, sponsors, brands and investors.

Women in Games CEO Marie-Claire Isaaman offered: “Sheridans is not only a hugely important and influential company in games and esports, providing legal support to some of the biggest names in the sector; but it has also shown itself to be very supportive of the industry at large too. We are delighted to welcome them as Corporate Ambassadors and look forward to their involvement in our events going forward.”

Antonia Gold, Data and Tech Lawyer at Sheridans, added (pictured): “As advisors to the games and esports industries, we applaud the work going into ensuring everyone, no matter their gender, has the ability to engage, build, and grow within it. We also know that we have a responsibility to help shape the industry in a positive way. That’s why we’re delighted to support Women in Games in its great advocacy for a more equal playing field – where everyone is welcome and has the chance to succeed.”
