Star For Life, an organisation focused on empowering young children, has launched Star For Life Ukraine, an initiative designed to harness the power of gaming to educate and empower girls in the digital world.
The organisation’s Star For Life Ukraine division has designed the project ‘Responsible Gaming for Girls’which aims to motivate girls aged 10-16 years, and teach them how they can enjoy gaming responsibly, and showcase the potential opportunities to convert their passion into careers in esports or game development.
The organisation is fundraising $25,750 to launch the pilot programme in Ukraine for 100 girls.
The programme is designed around a gamification approach and includes educational modules considering gaming as a career, gaming basics, balancing playtime, and interactive workshops led by experts, along with hands-on experience sessions supervised by mentors. The separate module will be dedicated to parental guidance.
