UK Games Industry Census – add your voice now!

There are just a couple of days left to complete the second UK Games Industry Census – the largest ever survey of the UK games industry’s workforce.

The first UK Games Industry census was a landmark analysis of diversity in the industry, but this year Ukie want to go even further.

As an official partner on the project, Women In Games is asking Ambassadors and Associates to complete the Census survey, to make sure our voices are heard. It takes just five minutes to complete, and all data collected is fully anonymised.

If you’re someone in a senior position at a mid-sized or larger company, you can also request a census pack for your business, helping you push the survey out to all of your UK staff.

Why is the census important?
Collecting this data and comparing it to figures from other sectors, national datasets and previous censuses has vital implications for tracking and improving Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in the games sector.

Accruing data helps us to understand the true picture of EDI in the UK games industry, helping the entire industry to understand areas where it can progress and opportunities to celebrate work done so far.

More information on the census is available on the Ukie website and the closing date is Friday November 19th.
