UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHAMPTON, WINCHESTER SCHOOL OF ART OFFERS INVITATION TO ‘ELEVATE’

Women in Games Education Ambassador the University of Southampton, Winchester School of Art is seeing its final year students on the home stretch, as they look towards the Summer Degree Show in Winchester plus a pop-up Arcade in London.
Before Easter, its students took the chance to show off early prototypes as part of a Barclays Eagle Lab event held in Southampton Football Club.
“Many of those present commented on the diversity of our student cohort and the diversity of our games, something we are immensely proud of and one of the numerous reasons why we are a WIG educational partner,” offered Adam Procter, Interim Head of Department Art & Media Technology at the University.
“We warmly welcome you to see for yourself the breadth and depth of work we are making this year and follow the games as they start to complete over the next five weeks. You can play them online and follow the hashtag #wsagames for more related content.”
The University is also inviting all members of the Women in Games community to its London industry showcase called, ‘Elevate’, at Hoxton Arches in London. The Private Viewing will take place on July 6th from 6-9 pm.
