Women in Games ties the knot with Confetti

Part of Nottingham Trent University, the Confetti Institute has become a Women in Games Education Ambassador.
Confetti offers courses at varying levels to suit a range of academic abilities, but what unites all of its students and tutors is their passion for creative technology. The institutes’ graduates go on to successful careers in games, as well as music, TV, live events, graphic design and more. Confetti offers a range of College Courses, Foundation and Three-Year Honours Degrees, plus Post Graduate Degrees.
Women in Games CEO Marie-Claire Isaaman offered: “Confetti is an incredibly forward-thinking creative education institute and we’re delighted that they are joining our fast-growing group of Women in Games Education Ambassadors. We are looking forward to working with them, their students and their team over the coming months.”
Kim Western, Confetti’s Interim Postgraduate Course Leader added: “Confetti is a specialist creative industry institute and part of Nottingham Trent University. Games Technology courses have been part of our teaching provision for over a decade and this has now expanded to Games Art and most recently Esports. We are currently expanding; our new Confetti X complex will bring together years of expertise in content creation, streaming, and competitive gaming which will be open in early 2022.
“We are so excited to be an Academic Ambassador for Women in Games. As an institute, we believe in promoting more inclusive spaces on our courses, and supporting equal opportunities and diversity. We have female alumni now working in the games industry in diverse roles and for studios such as Sumo Digital, Supermassive Games, and Frontier Developments. Working with Women in Games, we are hoping to strengthen our agenda to empower our female talent studying on our courses.”
