WOMEN IN GAMES WELCOMES PAIDIA AS CORPORATE AMBASSADOR

An innovative and pioneering new company which aims to provide a safe online space for women and allies of all genders has joined the Women in Games Corporate Ambassador programme.
Paidia stands at the nexus of gaming, technology and media, with a mission to build a safe gaming community for women and allies to engage, empower, connect, learn and play. Led by CEO Jill Kenney, formerly the Head of Media Network for Red Bull Canada, the company has recently launched the Beta version of its portal for desktop, which will provide users with games, community, tournaments and support.
“The work that Paidia is doing to create a safe and supportive environment for female gamers and their allies is to be commended,” said Women in Games CEO Marie-Claire Isaaman. “With Paidia estimating that 77% of women who play online have witnessed harassment, the launch of their portal is very welcome. We are delighted that they have joined Women in Games as Corporate Ambassadors and look forward to collaborating with them to make the online space a safer place.”
Paidia CEO Jilly Kenney added: “At Paidia, we’re not only providing a product that delivers an inclusive place for everyone to connect and play games… we’re giving women and allies of all genders a platform to safely elevate their own voices in an oftentimes crowded space.
“That is why we’re so thrilled to be partnering with Women in Games who proudly embody these ideals of diversity. We look forward to collaborating closely, bringing innovative solutions to the table and building a more inclusive gaming community.”
